Stone.  It is through stone that I explore my reverence for the natural world.  I enjoy "free carving" with only a stone and a pre-conceived notion as my guide.

Nature, specifically the raw geology of the Southwest's canyon country,  has a great influence on my sculpture.  Hiking and exploring in this environment is both inspiring and humbling, generating idea after idea.
